Greetings!
Many times in our lives we may ask God for a variety of things. We ask for good health, a good job, adequate finances, and harmonious relationships, but do we long for a right relationship with God? Our desire should be to know Him in truth.
How can we know God and is it even possible? Where do we begin to look and how can we know who He is? There is only one way.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
John 14:6,7
To know Jesus is to know the Father and there can be no realization of God apart from Him. What we can know of God and what we can understand has been spoken as the life of His Son. Jesus is the express image of God and our relationship to Him determines our relationship to the Father. God has made every effort to make Himself known to us but we have to ask ourselves, do we desire a greater understanding of Him?
At Brown’s Chapel we strive to know the God of the Holy Scriptures and we make it our purpose to be well pleasing to Him. You are invited to join us as we learn of God through His Son.
